“We met one night at The Riv in East Lansing. I was getting my undergrad at MSU and he was getting his law degree at Cooley. I was with two friends, and as soon as we saw him and his friends walk in… I called dibs. We didn’t talk at all until the end of the night.. he complimented me, and I made fun of his old phone when he asked for my number. A few days later he asked me out on a “proper” date and I agreed.
We went out on our first date at HopCat and then went to play pool at Harper’s. He made a bold wager that the loser had to kiss the winner. I won :)”
