When Annette and Tyler look at each other, it’s more than a simple look.
It’s a loving gesture. An understanding. A way of communicating something that they can’t find with anyone else. It’s something that melts my heart each and every time that I see it. 🙂
These two wonderful, funny, loving people were married last month, and it was my great pleasure to be their wedding photographer. <3

The day began at the Staybridge Suites of Okemos, where the girls began getting ready….
Annette had gotten a gorgeous dress hanger customized for her! 😀 I adore this design. A gorgeous, well made hanger is such a compliment for this amazing dress! <3
Annette’s “bride” shoes and “spartan” shoes.. 😉
Meanwhile, Tyler waited patiently to be able to see his gorgeous bride. They decided to meet for an emotional first look in the gorgeous gardens of MSU…
A perfect match <3
This next shot was an experiment with a technique called the “Brenizer Method”. It didn’t turn out quite right haha (they are very hard to perfect), but I’m loving the wild effect in this shot!
I promise that I did not put them up to this photogrpah below, haha! Apparently, there is an inside “turtle photo” joke that I’ll never know… XD
I can’t say enough good things about Twiggies. They did a phenomenal job on the bouquet and decor!
Sassy lady ;D
Of course, we had to show some Spartan love and get some true MSU wedding photographs! 😀
The Hawk Hollow chapel awaited us…
The food at Eagle Eye is always AMAZING. 🙂 Tyler and Annette opted to include a late-night ‘pizza snack’ later on as well, to fuel the dance floor. SUCH a great idea!
Annette and Tyler know how to throw a party. 😉 The dance floor was hoping all night long!
I was proud to also provide the wedding photobooth! It runs on a footpedal- so your guests can get at crazy as they want to, all night long! 😀 Want to see more photobooth photographs? You can check them out here!
Sometimes the photobooth props end up joining the dancing haha….
David Garrett did a fabulous job as DJ- I loved his ready smile as he lit up the party! 😀 He also surprised the bride and groom (who he also knows personally) with a special song…
At last, the night was done. But it will never be forgotten! Tyler and Annette, I wish you the very best of life and of love. It was so wonderful being your wedding photographer! 😀
